VACCINATIONS

One of the most wonderful benefits of modern medical technology is that it can protect our children from as many illnesses as ever before. And this technology is being re-invented every day for greater protection and strength from within. Here is a list of vaccinations you should know about, along with the right age to administer it – to help you keep a track.

  • On Birth = BCG, Oral Polio – ‘O’ dose, Hepatitis B Vaccine – 1st dose
  • 6 Weeks 1½ Months = Injectable Polio/Oral Polio 1st dose, DPT – 1st dose, Hib – 1st dose, Hepatitis B – 2nd dose, Rotavirus 1st dose, PCV 1st dose
  • 10 Weeks 2½ Months = Injectable/Oral Polio 2nd dose, DPT – 2nd dose, Hib – 2nd dose, Rotavirus 2nd dose, PCV 2nd dose
  • 3½ Months = Injectable/Oral Polio 3rd dose, DPT – 3rd dose, Hib – 3rd dose, Rotavirus 3rd dose, PCV 3rd dose
  • 6 Months = Hepatitis B – 3rd dose, Oral Polio – 4th dose
  • 7 Months = Influenza-1, Influenza-2
  • 9 Months = MMR 1st dose, Oral Polio – 5th dose, Typhoid CV (TCV)
  • 12 Months = Hepatitis A 1st dose, Chicken Pox
  • 15 Months =  MMR 2nd dose, PCV Booster
  • 16-18 Months = DPT: Polio 1st Booster, Hib Booster-1, IPV Booster-1
  • 18 Months = Hepatitis A – 2, Influenza (Yearly)
  • 2 years – Typhoid Vaccine, Meningococcal
  • 4½ – 5 Years = Oral Polio/DPT – B2, Chickenpox 2nd, Typhoid Vaccine-2
  • 8 years= Typhoid Vaccine-3
  • 10 years = Tdap/Td, HPV 0-1-6
  • Special Vaccine= Japnese Encephalitis, PPSV-23, Cholera, Yellow Fever, Rabies(Pre-EP & PEP)
